My brother and I supposed to go to a noodle shop for lunch, but most of them were so crowded.

Then we decided to try a restaurant where we've never been before.

I'm on my way home and I saw this scene at Tachikawa station.

It seems that a fire broke out in the 3rd floor lavatory.

Jo's Birthday

Happy Birthday, Jo!!

After class today, we had a small birthday party for our foreign teacher, Josephine Ho.

All teacher (there're only 6 teachers though...) gave her a present.



My present was "Fukuzawa Yukichi (拭沢油吉)", a set of oil blotting paper which design is parodied Japanese ￥10,000 bill.

If you use it, you looks like Azumax (Takahiro Azuma).

Of course only mine was ridiculous. (^□^;)

The other teachers' presents were so nice.

The two teachers (exactly they are students) on the left side are Rikiya and Rise.

Well, anyway, Jo looked happy and seemed to enjoy this party.

I was also happy with this heartwarming event.

I think Jo is a good English teacher; Her Canadian English is very clear and her attitude toward her classes is wonderful.

Eiken test

A lot of students had Eiken test today.

Of course, as always, some of my students came to Eigonoie to take them both in the morning and in the afternoon.

All I have to do today was to help Ms. Araki, the teacher who is in charge of Eiken test, if she asked me to do something.

But this time, the number of examinees was smaller than usual.

So I could do anything I'd like to.





Well, I'm in Eigonoie alone, and I realize that here is a perfect place to concentrate on working or studying.

It's very clean, quiet, and I can sleep as well. (^□^;)

Our principal Mr. Ogura gave me a duplicate key, so I'd like to use here alone on Sundays and Mondays.

Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama resigned to give his Democratic Party (DPJ) a chance at a fresh start.

I'm just confused...
What do you think of his dicision?

The main cause of the resignation was the loss of support: financial scandal and policy missteps, especially the failure to move the Futenma Marine base, made the image toward DPJ worse and worse.

But how should we create better relationships with other countries? Perhaps it's inevitable to keep Japan-U.S. relationship as long as North Korea's nuclear problem is lying.

It's so difficult to choose the next Prime Minister and the party which is going to design our country Japan.
