"You are the 12th player,"
"We are teammates. Everyone, please listen to what we your teammates say,"
"I don't want to scold you on this happy day,"
"Policemen with a stern look are also delighted at Japan's qualifying for the World Cup,"
"Let's celebrate with the spirit of fair play,"
"If you behave in such a way, you could be issued a yellow card,"
These humorous words from a policeman nicknamed "DJ Police" helped greatly in guiding the crowd at a busy scramble intersection in Tokyo's Shibuya district and in preventing any injuries during the street revelry, after Japan became the 1st team to qualify for next year's World Cup.
He received an award and commendation for his effective handling of the large crowd.
To be honest, I can't understand why young guys were so excited at Shibuya crossing after such a dull game.
Honda's penalty was good, but I think it was overestimated.
Rather, policemen who handled young idiots should be overestimated.
Congratulations, DJ Police!! \(^o^)/
