New CD

I bought a new CD on last Saturday because the Tower Records was in the triple point campaign. What I bought is the soundtrack of the Japanese drama "TRICK". Have you watched that drama?
TRICK is one of the most interesting dramas for me that I've ever watched. It's a suspense and comedy one, which is including a lot of unique parodies.
And now a new movie has been released. I'm eager to see it!!(>ω<)

What is the Longest Word in English?

Have you ever heard the word "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"? This long English word was in the song with the same title in the Disney musical film Mary Poppins.

But, if you search the longest word in your dictionary, you can find this below.

"Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis" (45 letters)

Perhaps you don't know this word, so let me take it apart.
・pneumono(肺の)
・ultra(超)
・microscopic(微細な)
・silico(ケイ素の)
・volcano(火山性の)
・coniosis(塵肺病)

.........Too long!!(@_@;)

But if you search the longest word through the Internet, you can find the crazier ones more and more. For example......

It's not a code but an English word meaning the scientific name for Trypthophan synthetase that is a protein with 267 amino acids.

Moreover, according to the Guinness World Records, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is alleged to have 207,000 letters, but has never been printed in full. (^□^;)

Anyway, my favorite answer is "smiles" because there is a mile between the initial-s and the final-s.

Hey! I long for your smiles.

Busy for Studying...

Today I submitted the application for the Saitama Prefectural teacher appointment examination(埼玉県教員採用試験). Therefore, I need to take exams at Inagakuen Comprehensive upper secondary school on July 11th. I'm so concerned about it....(~_~;)

I cannot update my blog so frequently and have any time to make a long sentences till after passing that examination.

I make sure that I'll keep on my updating, but I always use some short sentences instead. And I'll set the title on each article when they are updated from my mobile phone.

Well, anyway, these sites are helpful to improve your English. The first one is managed by the professor of the History of the English Language at my university.

While I was in the monorail, I saw a really terrible scene.

A young looking mother(perhaps 25 or so) let her child sit on the floor and draw pictures despite the crowded train.

Why not the mother scolded her child?

Bad manners are created in this way...

The recent newspapers or magazines have been saying that Urawa Reds supporters rained abuse on the opposite Vegalta Sendai on last Saturday. What is worse, the abuse included the term of racial discrimination, perhaps to the opposite North Korean player, who scored a goal on a 25-meter-long free kick.

I am really disappointed toward the incident.

We are the supporters. That mean we cheer up the Urawa Reds players, not to comlain the opposite and cofuse the both teams. It is out of question to discriminate any Asian players.

Where's the Fair Play?

College Student Proposes During Graduation Speech

Hundreds of students began a new chapter of their life Thursday when they officially graduated from St. Michael's College, but at least two of those students will begin that chapter together.

After delivering the college commencement speech and extolling the virtues of living a Star Wars-style philosophy, graduating senior Jamie Gorton raised his hands above his head and motioned to the crowd.

"Where is Rachael? You know which one, Rachael Roy," Gordon said as he began to close his speech. "Rachael, my love for you burns hotter than the two suns that orbit Darth Vader's home planet of Tatooine. You are the most beautiful and interesting person I know and together we can do it," he said before asking her to marry him "in front of everyone you've ever met."

A shocked Rachael held her heart and looked around the room before giving the thumbs up, much to Gordon's pleasure.

So suprised to find this news and I though it is too American!! I don't have any girlfriend now and perhaps have no opportunity to make. Many of my friends are telling me that the pass line of my choice is too strict to make any girlfriends. But in my opinion, I really want to find or come across someone whom I want to say "I love you truly" to like a brave speeker Jamie Gorton. Is this thought too old or too American?? (^o^;)

I found the songs that are used at Saitama stadium on the match day of Urawa Reds. You can download them on this URL below.

http://www.komura.com/urawa/simple/

Most of them are ex-used songs, but"Together"and"House Of Love"are still now used.

If you soak yourself in Urawa Reds, go on the web and try listening to them.

Mobile phone has broken!! Σ( ̄□ ̄;)

The screen often blurs and every picture looks like pastel drawings.

I have used this mobile phone for 3 years, so maybe the time has come to shift it to another new one.

Saitama stadium again!!

Today's match: Urawa Reds v.s. Yokohama F・Marinos
Kick off: 14:00

I don't have any good memories for the match versus F・Marinos. The affinity is not good.In addition, there are some famous players in the opposite team. Shunsuke Nakamura is one of them, for example.

But.........

We will win!!(*>▽<)/

My Golden Week

How was your Golden Week? I could enjoy and relax on this break. So I'll tell you about my Golden Week.

First, I attended my ex-coworker's wedding party. I cannot tell who got married, but it was so magnificent that it seemed to be like a romantic drama. I'm familiar with the groom because we used to talk about the students and share the ideas after the work at the cram school. I think he is the honest man, so I hope that the bride and groom (rather husband and wife) are getting along nicely with each other!!(*^□^*) Happy wedding!! Here are the photos of post -party party.

Second, I've already told you but, I went to Saitama stadium to watch soccer game. In the first half, the opposite team Grampus's forward Josh Kennedy, whose height is 1.94 meters tall, got a first goal from Urawa. Our forward Tatsuya Tanaka was sidelined in the first half, so the mood was quite bad. But in the latter half, gradually, Urawa players passed the ball well among themselves to create scoring opportunities. As a result, Yosuke Kashiwagi and Genki Haraguchi got a goal. Over the fifty thousand supporters including a lot of children exulted. Urawa's two goals were the good presents to celebrate the May 5th, which is the national holiday called Children's Day.
Anyway, can you explain the Children's Day in English?
Children's Day is a Japanese national holiday which takes place annually on May 5th, the fifth day of the fifth month, and is part of the Golden Week. It is a day set aside to respect children's personalities and to celebrate their happiness. It was designated a national holiday by the Japanese government in 1948. (from wikipedia, that is a good way to lean how to explain or define anything.)

Third, I bought new shoes. Here are the photos, one is sneakers and the other is a something like a sandal which I'll use this at Eigonoie.

These are so cheep: only ¥2,980 for the sandal and ¥3,780 for sneakers. Suit me?? I'm fond of collecting furnishings such as footwear, scarf, hat, flat cap, bracelet, and so on. I'm not brand-conscious. Just I like to buy something unique that nobody has.

Reds 2-1 Grampus

We won the game! Yeah!(≧▼≦)v

And happily, Yosuke Kashiwagi, one of my most favorite players, got a fantastic goal!

I'm looking forward to the next match that is going to be held on next Saturday. Of course I'll go.

We are Reds!!(^Q^)/^

I'm in Saitama stadium. So crowded today.

Today's game is Urawa Reds v.s. Nagoya Grampus. I feel sorry that Tulio cannot appear on this game. But I'm sure we will win today!!

I get home now.

I enjoyed drinking with my ex-coworkers after the work because it was a last day for Mr. Fujine to work in Urawa. He will have been in Shiki after the Golden Week break.

I have a lot of good memories for him. When I first came to Eikoh Urawa, he gave me a much difficult Japanese question as a material of my practice teaching. It was so hard to prepare, but after the practice teaching, he put a high value on my class.

When I had any worries, always Mr. Fujine stopped working and guided me until around at 3:00.

I can never put my gratitude into words.

Many thanks, Mr. Fujine.(=^▽^=)ノ
