Life

An unpleasant news reached me.

One of my old junior-high-school classmate passed away a few days ago.

He had a heart disease.
So his height was 130cm or so when he was in the 9th grade.

Actually, I don't feel deep sorrow at his death because we were not so good friends.

But......

I don't know how to express my feeling...

HYPERIZE

This is the 100th post!! (≧▽≦)/"

yeah!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, my order has arrived!!

Look!!

A new basketball shoes "NIKE HYPERIZE".
I really want to try this as soon as possible!!

# 22

How disappointed..........

Have you heard about Yuki Abe??

He's already left for England.

I simply can't believe the news......

I know, of course, he had wanted to join a foreign (especially European) football team, and this was the last chance to take action.

But......

I love Yuki Abe the best of all the present Urawa Reds players.

He is a versatile player and equally good at attack and defense.

He has made many adroit passes that leads his team to victory.

And at the same time, I feel sorry for him that he played in the discordant atmosphere.

I miss Yuki Abe, but I always support you.

Enjoy football at Leicester!!

Tongue Twister

Schools are out for summer vacation now.

On the other hand, Eigonoie's summer break had already finished, and students and teachers have worked as usual since August 10th.

So it's arduous for us to maintain or to improve the students' motivation.

.

But the elementary school students fail to live up to my negative expectations.

They seem to devote all the energies to the practice of tongue twister.

iPod trouble

Noooooooooo!!!!

My iPod has been broken!!

My father presented it to me when I was a freshman, so I had used it for more than 4 years.

I always take much care of using iPod, but.............

What is this icon......!!??

This is a "sad iPod icon".

If the icon appears, there is something wrong with its hardware.

Undoubtedly it needs to be repair.

How disappointed... (´^`)

The icon looks so sad, but my heart is much sadder.........

Drinking with my friends

I had a drinking party in Shinjuku.

Some of my friends are back to their hometown in Kanto because they have no work during Obon holidays.

This is the first time to meet them after our graduation, but all they're what they used to be in their college days.

Anyway, drinking is still hard for me......(×д×;)

Mont St-Michel

Bonjour.

It's quite hot and humid today.

Anyway, one of my friend (actually she is a 7 or 8 year-older ex-coworker though) went to France last week.

And she sent me a photo.

Do you know this place?

This is "Mont Saint-Michel".

"Mont Saint-Michel" is a rocky tidal island and a commune in Normandy.

It's located approximately one kilometer off the country's north coast and linked to the mainland by a causeway.

It is crowned by a medieval Benedictine abbey-fortress.

The Mont Saint-Michel and its bay were added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1979.

Kushari

My parents have gone to Yamagata to see football match Montedio Yamagata v.s. Jubilo Iwata.

So today I had to make supper for my brother and myself.

Then I decided to make "Kushari"!!

..........You don't know "Kushari"!?

"Kushari" is a popular traditional Egyptian dish.

It consists of a base of rice, brown lentils, chickpeas, macaroni, and a topping of Egyptian garlic and vinegar and spicy tomato sauce (salsa).

At the last night of my stay in Egypt on March, all the boys went out and bought "Kushari" for supper.

It was so cheep and the taste was not so good but not so bad.

But we really enjoyed chatting over a bowl of Kushari at that time.

Therefore, Kushari is a piece of my good memories. (^∪^)

Well, how about making it at home?

The scientific name of min-min-zemi is "Oncotympana maculaticolis", or the common name is 'robust cicada'.

But of course the foreign people don't know this name, so it's hard to explain this Japanese insect.

Anyway, he will not fly away at all.

What can I do for the night visitor? (^o^;)

ONE PIECE #59

Yesterday I bought a new manga "ONE PIECE #59".

And now I've just finished reading it.
.
Interesting!! (≧▽≦)
.
As you know, I love ONE PIECE and collect this comic books.
( I had written an article about ONE PIECE before → http://eh-take.blogspot.com/2009/12/strong-world.html)
.
The author Eiichiro Oda sets a lot of delicate hints or mysteries in it, so we need to think deeply to understand the story and some other plots.
.
This #59 book also contains many important, emotional, or exciting scenes.
.
Especially I was moved to tears by reading the scene of Ace's death.

Undoubtedly, ONE PIECE is the greatest manga in the 21st century.

Movie and Basketball

I had two events today.

First, my brother and I went to the United Cinema in Urawa Parco.

We watched "踊る大捜査線 THE MOVIE 3 (Bayside Shaketown 3)".

Exciting!!

Many famous actors and actresses take part in this movie, so it's worth seeing.

Of course, it includes many comedies. (^o^)

Second, after the movie, I went to Kitago Park (北五公園) in Warabi.

That park is located along National Highway 17, and happily it has a basketball court.

I supposed to practice shooting only, but a black man and his Japanese friend suddenly talked to me and asked me to play 2-on-2.

I haven't played games for a long time, so it was a bad condition for me.

But all we enjoyed that game!!

Finally my buddy, whom I have never met before, bought me a cold drink.

Through the basketball, we can make friends and even beyond the nationality.

Whew..... anyway I'm exhausted...(×ω×;)

If you're interested in basketball, or if you want to go to this park to play basketball, have a look at this site → http://www.rokyu.net/

I've already joined this site. My nickname is "たけぼー".

Please contact me if you like. (^∪^)

Pokemon Stamp Rally

Surprise!!

Have you seen the long line in front of the ticket gate at Urawa Station?

Or you can see them at any train stations.

What for...?

The answer is.............

........for Pocket Monster Stamp Rally!!

Young kids and their fathers have their backpacks and make a long line with sweating from every pore.

And it's interesting that fathers are eager to get the stamps rather than kids. (^□^;)

That scene reminds me of my good old days.

Pocket Monster came out and the epidemic swept all over the country when I was a elementary school student.

At the same time, collecting Pocket Monster Card was also popular among the students.

When I was 9 or 10, the very first Pocket Monster Stamp Rally took place supported by East Japan Rail Company.

Of course I joined because I could get the not-for-sale Pocket Monster Card "Surfing Pikachu".

Here!!

I don't know why I was eager to get that card.

But it was a good memory to run around with my father. (*^∪^*)

Heat Injury

I had a headache these days...(×。×;)

Perhaps it was a symptom of heat injury.

It's too hot today, and it's said to get much hotter tomorrow.

I love such fine days but don't forget to drink a lot of liquids frequently!!

Good health can only bring us a good summer vacation.

Oyako-don

My lunch at Urawa Parco.

So delicious this Oyako-don. (*^□^*)
