Ecoha-chan?

Take a look at this.

This cute character showing off in Ube on Monday is called "Ecoha-chan", the mascot for an environmental community center in Yamaguchi prefecture.


But, as you've already noticed, it's quite similar to Pokemon character Pikachu or Pichu.

The character of Ecoha-chan, which was designed by the city's recycling industry group, was first introduced at an ecological event last October.

Just looking at this, it's difficult to find that it is the copy of Pikachu.


But after the character's costume had been completed, some city staffs said that it looked like Pikachu.




Well......absolutely, every part of its face is the same as Pikachu's. (^o^;)
